This is a sixteen-lesson Bible-based course on the fifth book of the Bible, the book of Deuteronomy. This book was written by Moses. Few people are aware that in America's capitol, in the chambers of the house of representatives, thirteen of history's greatest legislators are honoured in Sculpture. Moses is the most honoured of all. On the east facade of the US Supreme Court building, a six metre high sculpture of Moses holding the Ten Commandments is found above the words, 'Justice and Guardian of Liberty'.

This legislation recorded in Deuteronomy is unique in the annals of jurisprudence. If applied it would solve all the problems facing our government today. Problems in areas such as crime and punishment, health and safety, economics, inflation, national debt, foreign relations, civil rights, unemployment, race relations, gun control and so on.

This course shows the citizen, clergymen, and politician the only way to health, safety, prosperity and liberty on the personal level. When Moses was one hundred twenty years old, he and his people were gathered together on the plains of Moab at the border of the Promised Land. This national leader poured out his heart to his people in a series of discourses. Moses' speeches were recorded and came to be known as the Book of Deuteronomy. Upon reading this fifth book of the Bible, you will find more than just the Ten Commandments as given at Mount Sinai.

Moses included admonition, counsel, exhortation, instruction, and warning to our ancestors. Moses spoke as a dying father to his children. He repeated certain things over and over again that Were very important. He did this because of his great love for them, and his desire to do all that he could to help these people to continue as one nation under God.

Several times Moses urged, even commanded, parents, civil leaders, and clergy to teach all this to their children. The Ten Commandments were the very first thing that children were to be taught. Then as they grew older, Moses commanded that every man, woman and child receive additional education at least once every seven years. (Deuteronomy 6:7, 11:19, 31:9-13)

You may have heard the saying 'ignorance of the law is no excuse.' It came from these words spoken by Moses many years ago. Today, most of us, including the clergy, lack knowledge about, or have never studied Moses' instruction. And for some unexplained reason, the liberal clergy, politicians, and bankers, go to a great deal of trouble to keep this knowledge from you.
